Kirill Ogorodnikov is one of the leading Estonian classical guitarists of the young generation. When creating his new web identity, main goals were to have a user friendly overview of concert activities and news, as well as the design that gives us a feeling of both classical and guitar.
“Guitarish colourful elegance” was on our mind when combining colours and shapes of the front page with the noble font. The homepage is meant to be a sort of announcement board for the current activities. Scrolling down from a hero section we first meet links to listening platforms, then latest news and at the end a big banner with upcoming concerts.
The essence of every musician’s career are concerts. That makes them at the same time the essence of every musician’s website. The audience that would visit Kirill’s website needs to be informed about the upcoming concerts and other details of his career. In order to provide a practical user experience we needed to build a beautiful concert platform that includes, in an easily readable way, all information about events.
In addition, considering the client’s wish to write blog articles himself, we needed to find the most efficient and easy way for him to do so.
We integrated a custom type of post for concerts that is (in a very intuitive way) linking to the ticket purchase page (it was also possible creating an independent payment system as well). We also created export buttons for calendars so the audience can make a reminder for themselves.
As for the blog, we created a front-end form (visible only to the page admin, in this case our client) with its fields linking to a beautiful single article design template so the client can write the blog himself, without thinking much about design, and get the same beautiful result every time.
